Possible 5th Studio album in 2008

In the wake of the new “Absolute Garbage” collection, the members of Garbage are eyeballing mid-2008 to begin making their fifth album. “We’re talking about it,” drummer Butch Vig tells Billboard.com, adding that he expects the group to group to head in a markedly different stylistic direction than on its four previous releases.

Butch Vig back in the studio

Butch Vig will be producing the next album by UK band the Subways. Work on the follow up to 2005’s Young for Eternity is due to start next month. Thanks to Jamesthegill from the forum for the information

TMWIH UK Premier

The new Garbage single Tell Me Where it Hurts will get it’s UK terrestrial premier on Channel 4 on May 28th just before Sex in the City. An official release date has yet to be set despite various rumours going around the Internet at the moment.
