European tour in risk?

Matt Chamberlain will be unavailable to play with Garbage on the european tour due to previous commitments.
According to Shirley: “Seeing as Butch may be well and truly under the weather for some time, the only options open to us are either to cancel all remaining shows in Europe thus disappointing thousands of our fans or we find another drummer to fill in. We have decided to call upon Matt Walker who we met when touring with The Smashing Pumpkins a few years ago. He’s an incredible player and a super sweet person so hopefully he’ll be able to come and help us out once Matt Chamberlain heads on out of Garbageland into the divine camp of Ms Fiona Apple.”
It is a bit late to cancel a european tour, and, accoring to their record company, as album sales aren’t as expected, there’s a lot of pressure on the european countries that Garbage do play, so let’s hope Matt Walker can nail the songs!
