Shirley with Elton John

Garbage spent the afternoon of June 19th with one of the most important pop icons of all time. Shirley wrote on her diary: “Woke up,got dressed,got picked up in a chaffeur driven car and taken to Elton John’s villa
in the hills overlooking the stunning vista of Nice.Enjoyed the most delicious lunch whilst
supping on champagne and pink wine and spent the next 4 hours or so lounging under the sun whilst listening to the aforementioned icon tell insanely great stories about working with people like John Lennon,Tina Turner and Eminem or what it was like to dance with the Queen Mother of England!!! COuld have happily spent the entire evening there but we had a show to do so after reluctantly saying our goodbyes we then drove back down the hill and stepped on stage to open up for The Red Hot Chilli Peppers!!!!
