Fans Comment: garbage.com back online

Every now and then, I would like to invite you to write a news, a review, your opinion, whatever what you’d like to share with the Garbage fan community about the band and their latest concert or news. You can submit your thoughts to the e-mail on the right column. Rob from the great site Garbage Discography gave me this idea, and honoured me with the first post under this concept:

“April 20, 2005 and the new official site finally sees the light of day 51 days after it should have first graced our computer screens, so what’s new?
Well the site itself is very flash heavy with the navigation in particular. The news now has the advantage of the built in RSS feed which is great if you don’t want to check the site out on a daily basis. The virtual ticket is a nice area for non fan club members because it offers photographs and videos for everyone. Then we move on to the Discography which has a few releases.

The community section is aimed at the signed up members of the fan club. Here you can post messages on the official forum, have your own web blog, in the fan scraps section; chat, suggest a fan site of the month, and view other member’s profiles.

The other main area which is new for members is the Extras part. It currently has two areas, these being Multimedia and the Bands Journals which include the well loved studio diaries. The multimedia section has the bands videos and the same live material also featured in the Virtual Ticket area.”
