In what amounts to a bleak variation on the Groucho Marx punchline about not wanting to belong to any club that would have him as a member, Shirley Manson harangues some poor sod whose only sin appears to be his dubious taste in women. The proceedings are complicated by a menacing guitar riff, which makes it difficult to decide whether to regard Manson’s confession of self-loathing with horror or admiration.
