The Gloss had Shirley as their Friday Fashion Icon last week.

We’ve had a soft spot for Garbage ever since we first saw the “I’m Only Happy When It Rains” video on MTV and, like, totally identified with it. But even if you weren’t a big Garbage fan, there was still something thrilling about frontwoman Shirley Manson, with her grungey kinderwhore style and stunning frankness with the press.
