Grammy Awards 2012 round up

We couldn’t have done it without the best producer in the world in Butch Vig

The Foo Fighters stormed the Grammys winning a total of 5 gongs including one for the Butch Vig produced Wasting Light. The album of 2011 (IMO) won in the Best Rock Album category.

In total the band won the following;

  • Best Rock Album for Wasting Light
  • Best Rock Performance for Walk
  • Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance for White Limo
  • Best Rock Song for Walk
  • Best Long Form Music Video

Despite Dave Ghrol calling Butch the “Best producer in the World“, he sadly missed out on the Grammy in the Producer Of The Year category. It was won by Paul Epworth.
