Garbage to mash up with Mos Def + Austrian Date
Garbage are, for the first time, playing new versions of their songs, together with another act: Mos Def, a Brooklyb-born rapper and actor.
After Jay-Z and Linkin Park released a collaborative album, “Collision Course,” the mash-up went mainstream, and this is the concept for the new festival AmsterJam, to happen on New York’s Randalls Island on August 20. Other confirmed mashs are Snoop Dogg that will rap with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the band 311 with the rapper Fat Joe. Tickets will go on sale on June 3rd.
Garbage will also be playing in Wiesen Festival in Austria on July 16th.
