Garbage postpones concert

Rock band Garbage abruptly postponed its concert Friday night at the Paramount Theatre because lead singer Shirley Manson was sick.
Security personnel made the announcement as concertgoers arrived at the theater.
The show may be rescheduled Saturday night (April 9). Ticketholders were told their tickets would be honored at the rescheduled show or refunded if the concert is canceled.
The Seattle show was the opening date on the band’s 2005 U.S. tour in support of the new album “Bleed Like Me.” For more information, call Ticketmaster.
