Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ DVD with Butch

A new DVD documentary about the making of Nirvana’s “Nevermind” album is due for release next month.
Titled “Classic Albums: Nirvana – Nevermind”, the disc will feature new interviews with remaining band members Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl, as well the record’s producer Butch Vig.
Reported by Billboard.com, apparently Vig’s interview is of particular interest as it shows the producer manipulating master tapes at the mixing console to break down how specific tracks came to fruition.
Also included is a live clip of “Polly” from 1991 and featurettes about Grohl joining the band and the creation of the “Nevermind” album cover, which infamously depicted a nude baby submerged in a swimming pool, with a dollar bill dangled in front of its face.
The disc is due for release on March 22nd.
