Shirley Manson named charity patron

Shirley Manson, lead singer with rock group Garbage, has been named as patron of an HIV charity.
The Scottish star is patron of Waverley Care, Scotland’s largest HIV charity, which is based in her home city of Edinburgh.
Talking about the honour she felt at taking up the post, she disclosed that she was once tested for Aids herself.
