Broadcast.com hosted a live Internet webchat with Garbage to promote their live Internet webcast from Dallas, TX at the Bronco Bowl on October 15. It drew the largest audience for a chat in Broadcast.com’s history. Total attendance was 5,268 people chatting simultaneously. The second largest chat for Broadcast.com was the New York Yankees, which drew far less. As part of the webcast promotional campaign, Garbage and Broadcast.com offered fans the opportunity to download a free copy of “Driving Lesson” (previously available only internationally). “Driving Lesson” has generated over 6,000 registrations and downloads.
