Garbage.com reports that Garbage are to appear at a semi-acoustic benefit concert in January 2007.

Musicians Banding Together to Fight Cancer a semi-acoustic benefit concert for Wally ‘Llama’ Ingram with various artists including GARBAGE, THE MARTINIS with JOEY SANTIGO & DAVID LOVERING of THE PIXIES, BONNIE RAITT, VICTORIA WILLIAMS & TOM FRUEND, Keb’Mo’ and FREEDY JOHNSTON, will be held on January 31 at the Alex Theatre in Glendale,CA.
A special internet only, pre public sale for friends, family and fans is available through the holidays, before tickets go on sale to the public after the first of the year. Reserved and general admission tickets may be purchased through the Alex Theatre Box Office at AlexTheatre.
You will need a special code to order which is LLAMA
There are also special gold and silver seating packages including the after show, backstage ‘artists gathering’ with the artists, only through the Guacamole Fund.

Wow Garbage playing together again. My dream scenario goes like this… They enjoy playing this concert together so much that Shirley admits she needs Butches help producing the solo record. Since leaving Garbage Shirley has found new musical influences in the sound of Billy Corgan and funky Beck. Unconciously she has found Garbages new dark funky direction and in a matter of time the guys gather round and form Garabage’s best album to date. Released early 2008 it becomes one of the best albums of the decade combining BG’s experimental diversity with BLMs guitar energy. Wow I would love this to happen!…but it probably won’t. Either way they will realise from this gig they play better now live than they ever did. The BLM shows were certainly thier best live and beat those digitised V2.O arena tours. So come back soon Garbage!

Hope the band enjoys playing together again, and decide to end their hiatus, while Shirley continues to work on her solo album at the same time. Then we could have both a new Garbage CD and Shirley’s solo CD coming out in the same year! Well, one can dream…
No new news so far.I wonder why Shirley doesn’t want collaborate with nine inch nails.Shirley please collaborate with Trent Reznor.I wanna see them in concert together.I live in Maryland,and I covet to people,who can go to the concert.I really can’t fly to California,I live in Maryland.

I’ve no need to visit download sites for Garbage releases as I’ve got most of what has been released anyway, so yes I have heard/got all the tracks you mention.
I hate dance music so chance of me checking out DJs is very remote.
I mean if you dislike djs, try something else. Coldplay for example. If you like this band. By the way,do you like BLM album?
