Soundstage is proud to present Garbage. Filmed live at WTTW’s studio in Chicago, their set includes select songs from their repertoire – ranging from its impressive mega-hits to fan favorites.
Garbage was formed in 1993 by consummate producer/drummer Butch Vig and producers/multi-instrumentalists Steve Marker and Duke Erickson. One year later they added the beguiling and sultry Shirley Manson to front the band. Garbage is one of the most respected groups of the ‘90s alterna-scene and its trademark sound aptly marries electronic loops with rock ‘n’ roll. The band’s unique style spurred many other bands to follow suit throughout the 90’s. The new millennium saw two new Garbage albums, 2001’s refined Beautiful Garbage and the long-awaited rocker, 2005’s Bleed Like Me.
The band’s appearance on Soundstage includes many of their early hits like “Queer,” “Only Happy When it Rains” and “Stupid Girl,” along with selections from their latest offering, including the funky “Shut Your Mouth” and stellar songs like “Why Do You Love Me,” the trip-hoppy “Metal Heart” and the catchy rock of “Sex Is Not The Enemy.”

It was great. I saw them the day before that was recorded, and it was just as awesome as any other Garbage concert.

OH MY GOD!!!! Thank you guys for uploading the concert. I did not get to see them this tour because they did not come to my home town and could not afford to travel. This is the first time I have gotten to see a live show from this album. Seeing it made me so happy, it literally made me cry a couple of times. How could any other band be better than this one? Only Garbage could take their music and morph it even better over time. Shirley and all are amazing.

I downloaded the whole Soundstage concert with Bit Torrent, and then opened it and the file worked in both Quicktime in the DivX player. However, I couldn’tget any sound. Is there another component I should download? Thanks.
downloading this has really made my day!!! so a big thanks to the person responsible for making it available! it brought back all the amazing memories when garbage toured here in australia towards the end of last year.
a question i wanted to ask is that i tried to burn a copy of the torrent file onto a dvd so i could watch it on tv, but the programs i have been using say the file is not accessible and therefore i cannot burn it onto a dvd. so i have a feeling the file might be encrypted so this cannot be done??
has anyone been able to burn it onto a dvd?? the programs i used to try and do this are-
-ulead dvd movie factory
-ulead video studio

Butch was off due to the death of his mother at the time. The “other guy” on the drums is Matt Walker who previously filled in for Butch in 2001 when he was Ill.
Rob: Ask that in the forum, I’m sure someone will know the answer in there.
Jason: try downloading BS player from File Hippo (http://www.filehippo.com/download_bsplayer/) I suggest you get it there rather than the official site because it now comes shipped with spywear on the official site so download it from File Hippo and you will be able to watch it.

I downloaded the whole concert with UTorrent and also downloaded BS Player and the video is incredible. But, I still can’t get any sound. What do I need to do to get sound? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
Joe: try downloading the following Codec Pack http://www.filehippo.com/download_codec_pack/ not sure why it’s got no sound in BS Player, first time I’ve ever heard of that.
