Garbage finish in Mexico

After playing almost 130 shows in over 30 countries around the World the band finish their Not You Kind Of People tour tonight in Mexico City.

The tour started at the Bootleg Theater, LA in April 2012. before moving onto Europe for some promotional dates and then back to North America. The European festival circuit followed before the bands visit to Asia where they played Taiwan for the first time ever and returned to Singapore where they last played in 1996.

Another North American tour followed before the band headed south playing shows in Chile, Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Columbia all for the first time.

Europe beckoned with a huge tour of Russia and Eastern Europe, again many places for the first time ever. The tour ended with a cracking show in Berlin where Ruby Marker performed Not Your Kind Of People with Aunty Shirley.

Garbage started 2013 in New Zealand before heading to Australia and then back to North America with shows on the east coast and mid west. They finish tonight in Mexico City after playing Monterrey two nights ago.

Having seen the band live countless times since 98 I can honestly say that the energy which they had on this tour hasn’t been seen since the Version 2.0 tour. If you were lucky enough to see them live why not reconnect with other fans who went on Garbage Base.

The band now plan to take a break before heading back into the studio and record album number six.
