A look back at the past month at the news worthy things to happen in Garbage World.

1: The band arrive in South America

Nothing would beat this to number 1, for the first time in the bands history they are playing in and selling out shows all across South America. The band have played in Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Chile. they still have Paraguay and Colombia left to go. I’m sure they will return in the future.

2: Because the Night Duet with Marissa Paternoster

Normally this would have been number 1 but due to the South American tour it slots in at two. Shirley and Marissa Paternoster from the Screaming Females perform a Patti Smith cover two nights running in Houston & Austin.

3: Control and Big Bright World 7-inch singles

4: Twitter account hacked
The bands official Twitter account was hacked by someone posing to be a drunken Shirley Manson. Normal order has now been resolved.

5: The Absolute Collection:
Fans in Australia and New Zealand will be able to get their hands on a new 20 track compilation album via iTunes or on CD. The release doesn’t feature any new tracks
