We have currently had to disabled the registration of new members to the Garbage Disco Box forums. This is due to the fact that we have had a recent attack of spam bots posting some quite nasty material and links on the site. We are currently getting around 200 spam bots join per day to the forum and we need to work on some patches to fix this issue with the PHPBB software that we use. However this planned work will not be happening until Sunday 26th of April at the earliest.

The forum will remain open to current members who will still be able to post messages just like normal. There is one exception to this rule and that is if you were a member with a post count of zero (0) your account has now been deleted as has been the case for the past 2 years. New account registrations will be re-activated once we have a fix up and running.

If you really wish to have an account set up then please post a reply here and we will manually sort one out for you. Do not post your email account in the comment section of the form we will get it from the address field as we have access to that data (normal users don’t). Please let us know the user name you would like as well.
