Garbage set Spring tour

news0313.jpgGarbage will launch a North American club tour April 8th in Seattle. The spring outing comes in support of their fourth album, Bleed Like Me, due April 12th.
Bleed, completed after a near four-month disbanding, features raw, guitar-heavy pop accented by Garbage’s signature electronic effects. Songs include “Bad Boyfriend,” featuring the Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl on drums, and “Metal Heart,” a political rant inspired by the war in Iraq, shrouded in layers of violin samples and techno beats.
“You just start questioning everything after a while,” singer Shirley Manson told Rolling Stone in January of the inspiration for “Metal Heart.” “You can’t believe a fuckin’ damn thing you see or hear. I got to the point where I felt like a real paranoid liberal.”
Garbage will head to Europe following their North American tour.
